Black Girls in Tech (BGIT), in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), hosted Amplifying Black Voices on 23 October 2025—an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating the experiences, achievements, and leadership of Black women in technology.

The event brought together professionals, students, and aspiring technologists for an evening of powerful storytelling, meaningful conversations, and community building. Designed to create a platform where Black women could share their journeys openly, Amplifying Black Voices highlighted the importance of representation, visibility, and authentic leadership within the technology sector.

At the heart of the event was a series of inspiring talks from accomplished speakers who reflected on their personal and professional experiences. Through honest conversations about overcoming challenges, navigating careers in technology, and embracing leadership opportunities, the speakers encouraged attendees to recognise the value of their own voices and the impact they can have within the industry.

The discussions reinforced the importance of creating environments where Black women feel empowered to share their perspectives, celebrate their successes, and inspire the next generation of technology professionals. By showcasing diverse career journeys and lived experiences, the event demonstrated the vital role that representation plays in shaping a more inclusive technology ecosystem.

Beyond the speaker sessions, attendees had the opportunity to connect with fellow members of the community, exchange ideas, and strengthen professional networks in an atmosphere of encouragement and collaboration. The evening reflected BGIT's continued commitment to fostering spaces where women can learn from one another, build confidence, and grow together.

Black Girls in Tech extends its sincere thanks to Tata Consultancy Services for partnering on this important initiative, as well as to the exceptional speakers who shared their stories with authenticity and purpose. The organisation also thanks every attendee whose participation, engagement, and support helped make the event such a meaningful success.

Through partnerships like this, Black Girls in Tech continues to champion greater diversity and inclusion across the technology sector, ensuring that Black women are not only represented but recognised, celebrated, and empowered to lead.
