Anyone who likes being creative and collaborative I would recommend the Black Girls In Tech - UX/UI Bootcamp. I had studied biological science in the past, but I had no idea what I wanted to do after that. The bootcamp encouraged my creative thinking, which I had no idea I had, and was incredibly beginner friendly. Each discussion was both educational and engaging. To gauge our understanding, we received graded tasks each week. I received a first and had three projects in my portfolio. Soon after, I started working as a business designer at Nationwide! With all the abilities I acquired at the bootcamp, I enjoy that I can enhance the customer experience and address problems in my day to day job now.
